Mahatma Gandhi was an apostle of non-violence who led the nationalist struggle for freedom against the British and laid the foundation of modern India with Gandhian principles at its core. Gandhi ji is a respected figure in socio-political realms, as shaking the world in a gentle way was the core of his beliefs, just like NSS under the leadership of the student secretary, Aryan Tiwari who led the organisation of the drama.

The drama was conducted on 2nd October, a day widely celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti and taught us various Gandhian values and principles like Satya, Ahimsa and Swadeshi. The drama was enacted by the first year under the supervision of Aryan Tiwari, the student secretary of NSS with the focal point being the ethical values preached by Gandhi.

The drama was beautifully enacted, and the storyline captured the essence of nobility that Gandhi taught us. The drama received a standing ovation from the audience owing to its aura of patriotism. The drama mesmerized the audience, and received an enthralling response from the students.

The drama was witnessed by our Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Shamsher Singh. The event was undoubtedly a resounding success and ended with the iconic lines of Gandhi: "Be the change you wish to see in the world" This quote beautifully captures the essence of NSS with its selfless service to the society, under the leadership of Aryan Tiwari, Student Secretary, NSS.
