“Information is the first step towards transformation” are the words of our visionary leader Aryan Tiwari, the student secretary of NSS. With this philosophy we embarked on the journey of awareness about Tuberculosis, with the distribution of nutritive baskets and medical kits to TB patients.

Every year TB claims millions of lives despite being curable and preventable.TB ranks among the top 10 reasons for death worldwide and one of the most persistent challenges of public health in the modern world. TB continues to toll on lives globally, particularly in low and middle income countries and thus making this event not a mere call, but a stage for change, to reform the lives of the people who have to suffer this fate.

The campaign also took to social media with posters being circulated on social groups and the official NSS page posting about TB and other relevant details about the event. The event sparked a dialogue amongst the people about public health and reforms. Our team, under the leadership of Aryan Tiwari, the student secretary of NSS made sure that this campaign is talked about in every nook and corner of our college

The TB awareness campaign received widespread support from the audience, with people from all social classes attending the event and ended with the resounding success whose echoes were heard with the initiation of dialogue far and wide. The campaign was attended by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Shamsher Singh who also advocated for the welfare of TB patients while emphasising on public health issues and the awareness of TB amongst the masses. The campaign achieved all its objectives and was, thus, a resounding success all thanks to the vision and effort of Aryan Tiwari.
